Hello together, some of us want to enable openSUSE Kubic for IBM Z. It seems, that there is a lot of interest. Additionally, ideas for feature requests are collected for the Leap release (major release) for the next year. Therefore, I want to create a brainstorming session on this mailing list for s390x. You can add your ideas in this etherpad. You can create additional threads for any specific topic to discuss. :-) https://etherpad.opensuse.org/p/openSUSEKubicIBMZ If we want to support any Kubernetes distribution on openSUSE, we will stand in front of the problem that IBM does not want to push all their container images for s390x to public container registries. Dockerfiles are at multiple places on Github. I was asked by colleagues where to find important applications as container images for s390x, because there are only a low number of Docker images for s390x. My suggestion is, that we create our own s390x images (as multi-arch images) and updated by OBS continuously. Then we can provide openSUSE images as "real" open-source container images for all Kubernetes distributions. You are allowed to answer on this thread, and expand this topic.
