Ok. I've tried Free NX now, i get the same thing. I never receive a login screen. Just a grey screen with an X cursor. Any tips would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with managing my Comm server. SSH works fine for console mode but cannot get the login screen on VNC, just the window with a crosshatched pattern..
