Can you try the CVS based driver from http://www.opensuse.org/Laptops_and_external_VGA and test whether this one is working?
Finally got the new goods downloaded and installed. Had to start over because a newer version came out (108) while my download was still in process.
? The version supplied there is static, and nobody has changed the wiki page...
So I'm confused. I was downloading from the 'development version' link. The link is still there but presents:
The requested URL /pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-edge/inst-source/ was not found on this server.
You have to download the driver from the wiki link! That points to a bugzilla attachment, not to the opensuse distribution. The bugzilla entry describes what to do.
Am I in the wrong location?
From the link you gave me:
http://www.opensuse.org/Laptops_and_external_VGA
I selected 'Downloads' from the nav. on the left. From that page I selected 'Download the latest development build' which takes me to:
No, no, Downloads always goes to the standard download page. Use the in-text 'current CVS driver' link.
From there, under Downloads I selected, 'Installation Repository' which takes me to:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-edge/inst-source/
Which returns 'not found.' :(
Works here, so this seems to be a glitch. Anyway, doesn't matter.
