Move from XFree86 to Xorg 6.7 - breaks kdm,gdm?

Hi, I recently moved to X.org 6.7 from XFree86-4.3.99. Under X.org 6.7, I notice that kdm and gdm crashes consistently. Both worked fine with XFree86-4.3.99. I switched to xdm and xdm works fine with X.org 6.7. Once I login, everything works just fine. It is the display manager that seems screwed. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? cheers, Osho
