Dear all, There is a bug in the last versions of X11:/Xorg driver (currently xf86-video-intel, libdrm*-2.4.39-94.1) there is a bug described (and SOLVED!) in "https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55446". Namely, after I have started a second X terminal (:1) and then closed it, the X server crashes (together with the :0 terminal) with the "intel(0): drmSetMaster failed: Invalid argument" error in the log file. There is a patch "https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=67851" that has soled the problem in that freedesktop bug report. I guess the version of the drm driver in the repository X11:/Xorg miss to contain the patch. Hope, somebody from the X11:/Xorg team pay attention to this bug. [opensuse-xorg] OS12.2 and Dell M6300

Hi, i tried OS12,2 on a Dell M6300 laptop. It was an update from 11.x -> 12.1 -> 12-2 The problem is that the monitor is not detected properly. When i run hwinfo --monitor everything looks fine but xrandr -q shows only 800x600. I have some problems getting the system running from start. The first install showed a total mess only when i started the kernel with "nomodeset" i had an useable output.
