that is likely https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7373 . The bug has recently been fixed in the Thunar 1.6.0 release which is available in X11:xfce and Factory, unfortunately the fix is according to the report not really backportable so this is unlikely to get fixed in the older openSUSE releases :(
