It's likely because > /usr/share/wallpapers/xfce has only a single default? My bad, you are right. I had forgotten that we have a symlink in /usr/share/wallpapers/xfce to the default wallpaper. So yes at the moment we only symlink one size so we should do the same for the other sizes to fix this issue. I'll do the fixes: 1.
