[opensuse-wiki] enhancement for 11.4
this page seems to lack from the 11.4 portal. http://en.opensuse.org/Upgrade the portal itself is not easily found from the main wiki page (or at least non in an obvious manner) I don't know how to manage this the best, that's why I warn here jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgxog7_clip-l-ombre-et-la-lumiere-3-bad-pig... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGgv_ZFtV14 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

jdd From http://en.opensuse.org/Upgrade portal can be reached via the knowledge bar, on top of the page.
The article itslef needs some straimlining though.. I'll but it on the TODO (http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Installation/TODO) From main page the portal is found under http://en.opensuse.org/Main_Page#Distribution, which is the right place to link it from. I will look into making a same link from the top image (Out now!). FYI: Darix also added in the last couple of days http://upgrade.opensuse.org, so we have multiple ways of getting to that page now. Bryen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org

I think when it comes to the really needed articles the separation in namespaces may sometimes be not so handy if you make no redirects but that opinion of mine in nether new nor seldom voiced by me. To the in my mind possible meanings of "Update" you may have a look at the according talk page : http://en.opensuse.org/SDB_Talk:System_upgrade#SDB:System_upgrade_via_zypper... And by the way: Should the article be a bit updated/upgrated itself to refer/reflect the current problems? (probably by somebody more used to use the CLI and zypper) Compare: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2011-03/msg00158.html Regards Martin -- - Martin Seidler - openSUSE profile: https://users.opensuse.org/show/pistazienfresser -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
