I think there's a problem with your XML file if it's that big.  An XML dump of the entire wiki comes out to about 11 MB, and as detailed as that article is, I don't see it being 1/3 of the wiki : )

I exported the LXC article just now, and it came out to about 25 Kb.

Yep, it's just a couple entries in the php.ini file.  If you guys really want, I can up that limit a bit with no problem.  However, there really should be no reason to do it.  As I mentioned above, you would have to be pretty much importing an entire namespace to get above that 2 MB limit.

I am also with Brian on this.  Do we have any other articles that are in a similar situation?  I suggest that we find them and either try to import their history or make a mention of the original contributor(s) in the article itself.  The latter is easier and it seems like a nice gesture, but I'm not too sure how to fit it in without breaking the flow of the article itself.  Maybe in the info boxes?
