The splash screen currently has only got a search box for searching the English wiki. We are planning to dd a drop-down for other wikis, too - probably in mid-November.
BTW: If you see a page with a broken layout, please try Shift+Reload to get the new css files...
jdd: I had no French translation of the first box, so I used the introduction from the "old" French homepage...
