[opensuse-web] Landing page screenshots update for 12.1
Hi Matthew, could you please update our landing page to the latest state? The new location of the sources is on github: https://github.com/openSUSE/landing-page svn url: https://github.com/openSUSE/landing-page/trunk To migrate we probably have to do a: svn switch --relocate on the production server. Greetings! -- Thomas Schmidt (tom [at] opensuse.org) openSUSE Boosters Team "Don't Panic", Douglas Adams (11.03.1952 - 11.05.2001) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org
I couldn't do an svn switch because it was a completely new repository (not a clone of an existing one). However, that wasn't a big deal. I just took a backup of the existing www directory and checked out the new repository into www. It looks good to me. Let me know if you see any issues. -Matt

thanks for doing it! Something is fishy - I see a mix of old and new screenshots now. I expect to only see the new ones. could you check this, please? Those screen shots are served from static.opensuse.org, so I don't know if there is anything I can do about them. Is the index page pulling in files that it shouldn't be? -Matt

that could be the reason. Could you try editing the index page, please? Everything is fine on the servers. The problem is that the browsers cache the list of images. Try Shift-reloading http://www.opensuse.org/screenshot_gallery/cached_screenshots.json and you should get the new images. I also added a new parameter to the loading of that file, so if you update from github again, the cached file should get refreshed for all users.
