Hello,
CC'ing opensuse-web to make sure all interested people notice this.
Thomas, can you please force ;-) Henne to finally merge the -wiki mailinglist into the -web mailinglist?

Hi, our admin guys are preparing an update to our wikis to version 1.19.
That sounds like a good opportunity to get some long outstanding wishes implemented ;-)
Can you please install the ReplaceText extension? It would be extremely helpful for some maintenance tasks. Not only for replacing text in several pages (that's the obvious usage), but also for searching on wikitext level.
Please also make sure to include the Bento print.css http://static.opensuse.org/themes/bento/css/print.css (obviously only for @media print) - without it, printing a wiki page will waste two sheets of paper with a printout of the menus etc.
The print.css probably needs to be included in skins/bento.php, function setupSkinUserCss with $out->addStyle( 'https://static.opensuse.org/themes/bento/css/print.css', 'print' ); In theory the above should work, but I didn't test it ;-) and therefore won't commit it to git myself.
It's already running on the staging system at http://enstage.opensuse.org/Main_Page
Could you please check if you see any regressions?
It's terribly slow (10 to 20 seconds to load a page), but IIRC that's a known issue of the staging server. Nevertheless I wonder if it is that hard to fix - this problem already existed when we tested the update to 1.17...
Hi Christian, the slowness is a general issue with the staging systems, not related to the update. Unfortunately it seems to be completely down at the moment.
A _very quick_ look at some of the pages didn't show any regressions, but I didn't check too much.
Lots of images are missing - they probably simply don't exist on the staging server. (Which reminds me that we discussed (long time ago) if we should create a "commons.o.o" and/or allow to use files from en.o.o from the other wikis.)
Unfortunately the staging server doesn't allow me to login, so I can't test anything that is related to creating or editing pages.
I created an account for the staging systems that we can use for testing: opensuse_stage:opensuse_stage
Besides this, someone who can login (Thomas?) should check if all patches that are not upstream yet are still in place. I remember: - a small change in index.php related to Access Manager - my patch for MultiBoilerplate to allow different templates per namespace
BTW: When can we expect the 1.19 code in git?
The code is a branch in the wiki git: https://github.com/openSUSE/wiki/tree/mw_upgrade_1.19 Could you please help Scott by checking for the things you mentioned above?
