Neither of them have anything around the timestamp of when I tried to add the machine. taskomatic has stuff from midnight last night, but again, nothing from this mornings attempt.  I just tried it again and nothing happens.  I even tried turning off the firewall on the server to make sure it wasn't a blocked port.

This log should show you interesting things /var/log/rhn/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.log

And you have the catalina log of Tomcat (/var/log/rhn/tomcat/catalina.2020-09-15.log for today).

Any suggestion on which log to try looking in.  My log trolling hasn't turned up anything yet.  And thank you for your help in advance.

Can you see something in the Uyuni logs regarding this VM ? (/var/log/rhn/*.log) which could give us some clues ?

No duplicate systems and I have made the bootstrap create a new UUID so I don't have any duplicates there either.

Check, of there is already a system with the same name registered and remove that before your next try.

Betreff: [uyuni-users] Clients not showing up in Systems list

I've got a freshly built openleap 15.2 server running 2020.07.  When I try
to install a client, the client shows up in Salt, which I accept, but the
client never appears in the systems list.  Any suggestions as to where I
look to see what is going on?
