You could blacklist the extension(s) of your raw files.

The file /gwenviewrc, as mentioned on the site above, is not in my openSUSE 20140918 (Harlequin) with KDE4 4.14.0. Any suggestion how to forward? Thanks, André

Yes, read more carefully. There is no /gwenviewrc mentioned, it is at ~/.kde4/share/config/gwenviewrc or (which I do not have) ~/.kde/share/config/gwenviewrc
and I *am* on 20140918 with KDE4 4.14.1
