[opensuse] Postfix can't authenticate user
Hi, I'm trying to move my Postfix server to new hardware. When clients want to send messages they need to use their username and password, via an encrypted channel (e.g. submission or sSMTP). Unfortunately, the authentication fails. I use mysql as the backend. When I run "postmap -q proxy:mysql:..." I get an anwser. In the mysql logging I see the query. When I try sending via postfix port 587, starttls, it should do the same query, but I don't see anything in the mysql log. I enabled a debug_peer and debug_peer_level=2 and then I see the username and password in the postfix-log. I didn't see anything concerning mysql. Any idea's what to do to debug this further ? part of my main.cf : virtual_mailbox_domains = proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_domains_maps.cf virtual_alias_maps = proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_alias_maps.cf, proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_alias_domain_maps.cf, proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_alias_domain_catchall_maps.cf virtual_mailbox_maps = proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf, proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/sql/mysql_virtual_alias_domain_mailbox_maps.cf Regards, Koenraad Lelong -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
