Which source do you then think its the best one for my drive ?.
Ugh, you really need to do some reading on your own. man cdrdao "source" as the pair to "destination". You read from source and write to destination. /usr/bin/cdrdao read-cd --source-device 0,0,0 --source-driver generic-mmc --paranoia-mode 3 -n -v 2 --eject --remote 20 --datafile /tmp/kde-erik/k3b_0.img /tmp/kde-erik/k3b_0.toc Is this clear now?

Silviu, please remember that some of the people on this list may not speak English as well as you do, and may be trying to figure that out as well as Linux. From that point of view, man pages (which are sometimes difficult for first-language speakers to follow) may sound like gibberish to them. -- Best wishes Kevin Donnelly www.kyfieithu.co.uk - Meddalwedd Rydd yn Gymraeg
