??? no news... whatever Oracle releases we certify. Plus, Oracle has started porting Oracle 9i. On SuSE Linux 7.1Beta!!! (so far they used RH 6.0 as porting platform, and it's really time to switch to something newer.) This means MUCH less certification work for us ;-)

Also is the release of 8.1.7 Certified to run under SuSE 6.4 and 7.0 ?

Certified on 7.0. we don't "back" certify an old SuSE Linux with new Oracle releases, the upgrade is only $50, after all.
