Jan, My patients has paid off. The mad-wifi module works perfectly. First, in Yast I now have *2* drivers each for eth0 and wireless. For the wireless device, there are two entries of: AR5212 802.11abg NIC and, Yast will not let me delete either one. The only difference between the two is that one says: Device Name: wlan-bus-pci-0000:02.02.0 while the other one says: Device Name: wlan-id-00:11:f5:15:2d:83 Normal?? Additionally iwconfig returns the following warning: 16:30 Rankin-P35a:/home/david # iwconfig wifi0 no wireless extensions.
