As soon as they are released I will seed the OSS-i386 and the OSS-x86_64 ones as I have access to the iso's via the novell internal network already, but I need to wait for the official announcement from AJ or someone else for that. I add the iso's to my ftp server also and add it to the downloads page. My server is on a fast network and I hope to help cutting down the awful download times we had in beta2. Will do that with every release from now on. Will first see if it trashes my server though ;) ..... Andreas

could you setup anywhere instructions to use torrent on beta2? may be there is no problem :-(, but when I used torrent on Mandrake to download beta1 My upload bandwith was completely filled (more than 100ko/s) and I could not even browse the web. at this time I found no mean to limit the bandwith, having _not_ lauched any bittorent client (the command line one lauches automatically and I found no conf file to enter the needed option). so I was obliged to stop the connection. if there is no problem with suse, two lines of support would be enough thanks jdd -- pour m'écrire, aller sur: http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.net http://arvamip.free.fr

tis is the option, I know it, but where may I set it? never find any config file (if you can, let me know). however ktorrent don't this problem and works perfectly on beta2 (was not available on my old Mandrake 10.1) I add a line on http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/BitTorrent_and_openSUSE jdd -- pour m'écrire, aller sur: http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.net http://arvamip.free.fr

there is no command line, it starts from clicking with konqueror! and there no "bitorrent" command :-( jdd -- pour m'écrire, aller sur: http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.net http://arvamip.free.fr

If you want more control about your torrents, you might just as well install Azureus. Only prerequisite: Java (>= 1.4) and GTK2. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ Or install gbv's RPM for SUSE 9.3: http://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-gbv/rpms/SuSE_9.3/azureus-2.3.0.4-0... Azureus is very slick, and lets you tune everything very nicely from its GUI. - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDDeJ2r3NMWliFcXcRAj4WAJ90jU+zU9+n9vaQsDG8X1/AoCF1RQCgupav 445IqG3toSkd09HEtPbjbDs= =ZPaR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

It sometimes crashes on me when I run it. Especially when I am surfing. I have not yet looked into it and it could be that it does not happen in later versions of SUSE. I still run 9.1 (To lazy/buzy to do a new instalation and figure out what has been changed. :-) houghi -- The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlight of an approaching train.

nice. I don't need it anymore (ktorrent on suse works well), but others may need; can you add this clue on the bitorrent page of opensuse? thanks jdd -- pour m'écrire, aller sur: http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.net http://arvamip.free.fr

very nice! if you know well bitorrent, you mau be able to answer a question: finding bt too low, I already dowload the 4 last cd by ftp. Thay are in the bt folder. is that sufficient to have them shared? I hope bt wil not erase them :-). I have a pretty good upload (setup at 30ko/s) and can serve the others thanks jdd -- pour m'écrire, aller sur: http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.net http://arvamip.free.fr
