[opensuse] SN9C201 Sonic Webcam Drivers
Hi all, I own a Sonic (Microdia) webcam that is not supported right now, but surfing the net I found the drivers that make the webcam works in Ubuntu Feisty. The driver is not opensource and it is just compiled for Ubuntu (a .deb package). Is there any way to install debian packages in openSUSE? openSUSE 10.2 Regards, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Regards,
So you did check here: http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html I see the sn9c211 is supported - maybe get the developer to tweak the driver to work with 201 - or maybe do it yourself, or maybe it just works. I checked the web site, but although the SN9C211 is supported, it doesn't work with my webcam and I neither know how to contact the developer nor develope it myself.... if you know how to do any of them, i'll appreciate any guide...
