Hi, I'm thinking of buying the ASUS AVN766 motherboard and Athalon XP 2GHz CPU. Motherherboard has integrated LAN, Sound, NVIDIA, N4 VGA card. Whole thing is available in less than USD 200 - hence the decision to upgrade from my PIII 450. Those who have used this combination with SuSE Linux 8.2 successfully or with issues, pls. share the ideas, hints, experiences etc etc.... These Asus value boards are actually very good. I don't have that particular model, but I do have others. The video drivers install without a problem, but as does sound, but you will have to download and compile a driver for the network card.
