script for the cover illustration?
Hi everyone, Does anyone know where I may find the script used to generate the image on the SuSE 7.1 boxes? I know that surf is used to generate the images. Thanks, -- Victor R. Cardona vcardona@home.com "Behold the keyboard of Kahless, the greatest Klingon code warrior that ever lived!"

We used to print the mathematical formula for the respective surf image somewher in the printed manual (the "old" one). However, I don't know if this is still the case... Hello all, Somebody from our grafix department asked me about a *comfortable* 3d rendering programm, to replace his expensive windork software. As this is not quite my resort, i thought, i hit the list with this question, as im sure, other people would also be interested in a "personal favorites" answer of this question ... :) < and i would also be interested in this particluar surf-script> best regards, Alex On Tue, 27 Feb 2001, Victor R. Unfortunately, SuSE no longer provides the mathematical formula for the graphic on the cover. I'm not sure if they ever openly had scripts, but was hoping. - v -- Victor R. Cardona vcardona@home.com "Behold the keyboard of Kahless, the greatest Klingon code warrior that ever lived!"

The program to generate the images is called "Surf" and should still be part of the distribution. However, I don't know, if we still print the formula of the current image in the manual... Last time I've seen it in 6.4 manual... There is nothing in 7.1. -Kastus
