My box has a NVIDIA GeForce4 Graphics card. With both 9.0 and 9.1 install / upgrade I the card was NOT configured at install / upgrade time. What I needed to do was ... 1) Use the nvidia installer for 1.0-5336. sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run 2) Configure XFree86 with sax2 -m 0=nvidia This is a big of a pain. I was wondering if this was necessary with 9.2 upgrade from 9.1 john

Also, you should get an updated driver - it is 6629 now. David -- "Never offend people with style when you can offend them with substance" -Sam Brown

john I have a mx440 card and all I had to do was use you to do the update of the driver and reboot. Worked excellent at the second attempt. Make sure you have your monitor configured correctly though. Chris
