This error message started on Jun 04,  after making an update (zypper up) on June 3rd.

Not the exact issue, but I began seeing USB strangeness with 5.6.3 where on plugin the journal output no longer displayed the assigned device attach point, e.g. /dev/foo... For 5.7, phoronix summarized the USB changes here: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Linux-5.7-USB-Changes I don't have an Arduino, but have several TI micro-controllers that use a USB-C type connector. Perusing the 5.7 changes, there were a couple related to USB-C specifically. -- David C.
