Hi I have problem with my home pc, my daughter accidentally powered off my pc while I was in the middle of a Palm hot sync and now when it is rebooting it hangs on the loading hot plug devices, what steps should I take to get my pc back up and running. I tried to boot from the cd and do the rescue option but I can't mount the partition on the hard disk. I don't want to reinstall and this all happened just before I was about to backup my pc overnight what luck I have. Is there a check disk utility I can run in SuSE ? I am running SuSE 8.2 with all the latest patches.
