I am wondering if I can upgrade my SuSE 8.1 from KDE 3.03 to KDE 3.1 by compiling SRC RPM for my own distro, without causing strange behaviour to YOU As far as I know, When I upgrade my system through YOU to KDE 3.05, the systems always switch back to KDE 3.03 when I installl package through Yast->Install/remove Packages So if I install KDE 3.1 without passing through YaST, I am wondering if all will work perfectly after. Could you tell me if you got problems by upgrading to KDE 3.1 with YOU ? arnaud
