RE: [opensuse] bash prompt login question
Fri, 24 Aug 2007, by Jamesp@MusicReports.com:
Hello,
I have a user who doesn't get the normal bash prompt when he logs in, just a simple 'sh' prompt, for example;
server Fri Aug 24 09:15:00 ~ $ <snip>
Is the user's info in /etc/passwd correct? ~~~ It appears that it is since he is able to login to the server. I actually did update it again since I deleted his original account and set it up a new account with his usual username & password. The info in /etc/passwd appear correct. Thank you, ~James Sorry Theo for the direct reply. jp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

By 'correct', I think he's specifically asking which shell, if any, is shown in field 7 Joe -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
