Is it still possible to unsubscribe to this list by sending an email to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com? When I do I cannot get any response from the server. I've done this in the past, and it worked, but it doesn't seem to work for me now. Jerry

I have tried that, I get no response from the server. Martin Webster wrote:

Did you try <suse-linux-e-unsubscribe-john=host.domain@suse.com> where the e-mail you unsubscribe is john@host.domain? If you still have problema send a message to <suse-linux-e-owner@suse.com>. Otherwise, the problem's at your end. M

It's weird, I can send messages to the list, but I can't get the server to respond to any of my messages. I am using Mozilla 0.9.3, but I get the same non-response from any emailer in Linux or Windoze. Also, I have two ISPs. I get the same non-response no matter which ISP I use. I probably am doing something wrong, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I don't really want to unsubscribe, it's just that it bothers me that I can't get the server to respond to me. At a guess, your ISP's mailserver is appending headers. Broken ones at that. regards, Dave. -- | Dave Jones. http://www.suse.de/~davej | SuSE Labs

FWIW, I unsubscribed yesterday and got an e-mail confirming that. Today, I'm still getting messages. Yippee38 Jerry Van Brimmer wrote:

I assume that you have tried to mount more than one CD-ROM? Is fstab set to autofs? Does the CD-ROM spin up when you try to mount it? M
