I am also having interesting problems. On this box I multoboot with 7.3 personal; at least until I get more memory.

When I open console and SU then init 6 I get a funny screen all skrunched up in the middle rather than a clean shutdown. Then I have to REboot.

I was also getting this if I logged in as root and did an init 6.

This is only recent. Is there an error in one of my scripts?
