In SuSE 9.0, there's a front end for gpg called kgpg. However, it doesn't seem to be included in the 9.1 DVD or on the SuSE website. Any idea where it might be? tnx jk

It's in the supplementry kdeutils3-3.3.1-3 for SuSE 9.1. I would guess this is true for other KDE versions as well. Michael

I'm running KDE 3.2.3. Where are you finding supplementary kdeutils? I don't see that anywhere I've looked. Both the DVD and SuSE web site show kdeutils3-extra, but that package doesn't contain kgpg.

Sorry for the late reply, just saw your email. The package I mentioned is part of the SuSE supplement to upgrade KDE, meanwhile version 3.3.2: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/applications/kdeutils3-3.3.2-3.i586.rpm Since you are still running KDE 3.2.3 you will have to upgrade to KDE 3.3.2 if you want to use kgpg from kdeutils3-3.3.2-3.i586.rpm. I do not have any 9.1 with KDE 3.2.3 around anymore, so I don't know if and where kgpg can be found for that version. Michael

I think in 9.1 it is GPG for GnuPrettygoodPrivacy. Robert Rawlinson

I've got gpg installed. Kgpg is a front end for it.

GPG stands for GNU Privacy Guard - Pretty Good Privacy is a trademark IIRC. According to Yast, that's a library to give applications access to gpg. Kgpg is a front end for gpg, where a user can configure and use gpg.

Found it. It is in kdeutils, but doesn't show up in Yast, unless you look in the "Dependencies" tab.
