[opensuse] spamd complains of a problem with dns
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, While downloading email with fetchmail, I get many of these in the log: <2.4> 2017-01-13 00:13:42 Telcontar spamd 29052 - - dns: unable to connect to [192.168.1.14]:53, no more alternatives <2.4> 2017-01-13 00:13:42 Telcontar spamd 29052 - - error creating a DNS resolver socket: Address family for hostname not supported at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.2/Mail/SpamAssassin/DnsResolv er.pm line 434, <GEN2076> line 186. The IP above is that of my machine, wich is running dnsmasq locally, and as far as I know has no problem solving names. I found a thread or two on google, no solutions. It may seem that spamd may be trying to connect to my machine via IPv6 at an IPv4 address But emails seems to be processed correctly. - -- Cheers Carlos E. R.
