Having been bought by a very kind relative, a new HP printer, which, might I add does work. The problem is that whilst it is fine in windoze (no surprise) I cannot get it working under SuSE, whilst the printer is being detected, there isn't a specific driver for it, and one of the other/generic drivers will get a response out of it. The connection is fine, but the printer won't respond to any attempts at a test print (there is success sending "hello world" but that is what I meant by a "fine connection") --------------------------------- Olipro - GTA Global <Olipro@GTAGlobal.net>
