floating applet for day of the year - with transparent background over the desktop
Hello SLE I wonder how put an floating applet (I think it is the correct name) on the right top corner of my desktop just to write the day of year: 19 de setembro de 2003. It should have a tranparent background; just the letters should have colors. Some tips? Thanks anyway a.

Have a look at gDeskCal: http://www.pycage.de/software_gdeskcal.html -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org
You could try and play with asclock. It is basically a big number of the day with a watch. I believe you can make it transparent, and make it run with no bar, no close button nothing wherever you want on the desktop Sergio A las 12:13 del 19 de Sep de 2003, Adagilson Batista Bispo da Silva dijo:
