[opensuse] Gnome on 11.0 - background stuck - no rt-click context - compiz no cylinder - what to check?
Guys, This is weird. All of a sudden, gnome went nuts. I cannot change the background, cursor, etc.. in appearances. (if I reboot, then the background will change to what was selected) Compiz desktop deformation for the cylinder/sphere no longer work, all I get is the cube. When I right-click the desktop, I don't get a context menu anymore. Weird... This all started after I selected the new K6 gtk theme. I have since deleted the theme from the system, but the problems persist. I don't know for sure if it is related, but nothing like this has ever happened to me before in gnome??? It 'feels' like some setting got set or some file got replaced that borked the system. I have checked .xsession-errors and messages, but nothing pops out.
