[opensuse] IPv6 on Amped router
At my house I have a Amped R10000G router. The only IPv6 reference I see is "Enable IPv6 pass through on VPN connection: Allows the IPv6 protocol suite to pass through on a VPN connection." I enabled that, but I'm not getting a IPv6 address here. The router is only 3 years old so I'm surprised. I suspect that means the VPN can carry IPv6, not that you'd get an IPv6 address from the ISP. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I googled and found the datasheet - no IPv6 support, only on a "AC1200 Dual Band".

Yeah. Some of these embedded designs live for years and years though, printers, managed switches, wifi access points - the box might be just 3 years old, but the contents might be 10 or more. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (16.9°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
