I'm trying to setup google talk with openSUSE 13.1
I don't see google-talkplugin in the main repos, nor in packman.
I'm running 32-bit openSUSE and I've tried the 32-bit plugin from:
it doesn't work.
That agrees with this bugzilla
That bugzilla says that a working google-talkplugin can be downloaded
Does anyone know if that can be trusted? Does it have a reputation
(good or bad?). Could malware have been injected, etc.
Greg: Kopete handles google talk (and a bazillion other things) just fine.
In fact, each time you log in My Kopete notifies me that you are on line
because (appparently) some time in we communicated over GoogleTalk and you
are still in my contact list from that time.
