I have seen several people on the list refer to SUSE Linux 10 as openSUSE 10 since the launch of the openSUSE project. I would like to clarify this by saying that openSUSE is a project that denotes open development and it is not a product. A project may or may not have several products under it. Currently the product under the openSUSE project is SUSE Linux. The version of SUSE Linux 10 that is available for download on opensuse.org is the OSS version of SUSE Linux. The version of SUSE Linux that will be available for purchase is the Retail version of SUSE Linux. However they are both still called SUSE Linux. Hope this helps clarify things. Know that I am not trying to be picky, just trying to eliminate confusion. -- Joe Harmon <jharmon@novell.com>
