Hi!
I am using the isc dhcpd server for some years now without any troubles. Now I should add an virtual interface (eth0:1, 10.0.0.1/16) to the existing physical interface (eth0, 10.0.0.4/16).
If I add the virtual interface the dhcpd server listens to 10.0.0.4 (it is bind to eth0) but answeres via 10.0.0.1. No client gets an ip address (which is curious as both are in the same subnet !?!)
Can anybody give me a hint please?

10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.4 _are_ addresses. 10.0.0.x is the subnet.
