Where should I be looking?
At your router config. Is it NAT'ing your internal network? Is it
running a DHCP server? If you can communicate with the router and your
LAN, your SuSE box seems be be correctly configured (probably dhcp is
working). You just need to be sure your internal network is being
masqueraded to the internet, as your internal IPs will not be routable
on the internet without NAT.
And make sure you have proper nameserver entrys in your resolv.conf file.
