I haven't used one of these (/etc/sysconfig/network/if-up.d/*) in years, but I thought the idea is they're are all run when an interface comes up? I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to work like that in TW. Well, my carefully crafted script is certainly being ignored :-) Looking at /etc/sysconfig/network/config in 13.2, we had GLOBAL_POST_UP_EXEC="yes" GLOBAL_PRE_DOWN_EXEC="yes" but they seem to have disappeared in TW. I looked at the 'ifup' man page in Leap422, there's no mention of any scripts or if-up.d/. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (7.6°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
