For the record, I'm conservative (surprise!) and I am suspicious of systemd. Linda: are you conservative? Damian: are you liberal? Dirk: are you conservative? Can your opinion of systemd be correlated with how you vote on election day?
I don't think so... I tend toward liberalism in many things, but tend to vote something independent rather than demo/repub since both parties have sold their souls to make deals that have corrupted their ideals. Conservatives got in bed with Christians to get more votes -- before that -- it was conservative government -- stay out of personal lives as much as possible. But with Christians getting into conservative party, normal definitions fell apart. Now... get this... in the past several presidential terms going back to reagan -- the Conservatives have increased the US debt via large spending the most!.. and the liberals have tried to salvage the hemorrhaging budget --- complete opposite of historical reputations. So, it's hard to label ones self when the labels have been turned topsy turvy. I don't like too much of either extreme and generally want things to play nice somewhere in the middle. That means solutions that lockout the other ways of doing things are not likely to be liked by me. People who tell me one way or the highway... *gack*... totally antithetical to freedom and choice... I don't play politics well and am abit too forward w/my feelings... those are bad traits in todays world, where the top-wage earners are correlated with the highest levels of sociopathology. Those who are willing to step on the most people go the highest. I think that sucks, because I don't like stepping on others. but I resist strongly being stepped on, as well.
