Probably due to the language barrier, Marco. I never install 'generic' rpm packages using Firefox. Not ever. :-)
The <problem> probably stems from ymp files being missing for <generic> rpms rather than a "configuration" problem of his. I can count the times I have used firefox to install rpm files on one hand, much simpler to dl and install locally.
