as long as you can change it very easily, why?
Because I want to contribute. Because I believe that we have the wrong default. Because my list of "things to change" when I install openSUSE is growing longer and longer due to other people making wild changes without really considering the target audience.
target audience is what? the defaults fits perfectly my needs, as did the other system, by the way, but I don't expect things to last forever. I think it's easier to learn things as they come, because at a moment or an other I will have to and then may not have the will, time or ability to do. I began computer with scientific calculators and use PC nearly since the beginning (in fact Personal Computers before the IBM PC), so I learned to use 8" floppies, 5" floppies, 3" floppies, zyps, cd's... up to spinning Hard drives, usb sticks and ssd. people using a recent PC with multimedia capabilities have a enormous quantity of things to learn (and often fails to). simply setting Facebook is more hard than compiling a linux kernel in year 2000 :-)) it's life jdd NB: I still have working HP-41C :-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
