Running 42.2 I did a zypper up yesterday which included a lot of changes to Libreoffice, which I accepted.
The upshot here is that LO no longer uses Bitstream Charter, which is my font of choice for LO docs and spreadsheets.
Is there a way I can fix this, still using the OS LO installation ?

As normal, just create a new document that uses the fonts and margins, etc.. that you like and then save the choices as your Default Document Template. From then on, you open LO, you get those fonts and settings. Just google LO set default font and you will find a howto.
OK, I opened LO writer to create a new document my problem immediately is that BS Charter is no longer in the drop down list of fonts. Doing the exact same thing on another 42.2 box which has not been upgraded BS Charter is still there. I can set default fonts but not if the one I want to set as default is not available. My suspicion is that the OS upgrade has broken something, at least it has for me, so can I roll that back ? It all looked innocent enough so I accepted what was offered, not being that much of an expert on that sort of thing. Is it just me or have others found the same thing I wonder ?
