For real cutting etc kdenlive, and there it helps
to have it create low-res
proxy versions of your movies that are used in the gui. This really makes
work a LOT more comfortable. You can enable it in settings->kdenlive->Project
Defaults.
did you use it really? I never seen any difference, hence I guess something
don't works
