They are always resourcefull and there was no method that they didn't found "workaround". The goal is to prevent majority of them that would like to take money, if it is not too risky or not too hard. It is the same in other activities, people dedicated to reach a goal can make others wonder what is possible. There is plenty of examples that anyone can cite. So, biometric security in this case trough fingerprintting is basically yes.
