Hi everyone-

 

I have a router question- I am using Suse 7.1 and a win98 machines for the family- connected to a 486 Linux router (CoyoteLinux on a floppy).

But NICs are setup with Coyote and I see the eth0 and eth1 connections to the net- but can't find any docs on how to connect the Linux box to the net. Do I need Samba to see the router- (I was going to set it up as a client to see the Win98 box and share files.

 

I can change the settings in Win98 through the browser, but with Suse 7.1 do I change the gateway settings to 192.168.1.xxx in YAST2 for default gateway and enter the DNS info in the namesservers?
