Just install Linux, say Leap, and postfix will be started automatically, without you doing anything at all. If you have to "install postfix" you are doing it wrong.

But those many know what they are doing, that it is a really minimal pattern, and that they have to install many extras. Paul, have you really installed the minimal text pattern? Don't.
