Haven't had a direct mail to you work for several years.
The above "delay" turns in to a failure after 5 days.

so I can prove to my ISP they have a problem -- terrible service
now... Joy...

Something is screwy about your setup  Never had problems
like the above with others email -- but consistently your email
seems broken.

I wonder how many emails your provider blocks....?
I have had this same commercial account for 21 years. Was Cox Communications
for the first 10 - flawless service, live support with dedicated number.

Cox sold to Suddenlink about 2010 - same great service.

Suddenlink was bought by Patrick Drahi (Altice) in 2015 and customer service
and support went to hell, but the price went up?? Regional monopolies do have
their advantages.

I have had tickets open since September (when I got bounced from the two Arch
lists I was on -- due to the same type mail host screw up at Suddenlink) --
but it has never been fixed. (that host was dalifep05)

So they have a block list screw up buried in one of their hosts and they are
not competent to figure out which host or how to fix it -- so this same issue
seems to have metastasized...

I was for quite some time unable to receive emails or any type of messages from the sane mailing list. I had been using a hotmail email account during that time. When I read this "block list screw up" I could not help but comment here. I was able to sign up to the list but never received any mail whatsoever. When I decided to migrate to a different email provider I began to receive mailings. I was literally shocked because it was somewhat difficult to have to try to figure things out completely on my own.
