Use the 'L', reply to list, available to mutt users and don't worry about the rest.
from /usr/share/doc/packages/mutt/manual.txt.gz: list-reply (default: L)
Reply to the current or tagged message(s) by extracting any addresses which match the addresses given by the `lists or subscribe'' commands, but also honor any Mail-Followup-To header(s) if the `$honor_followup_to'' configuration variable is set. Using this when replying to messages posted to mailing lists helps avoid duplicate copies being sent to the author of the message you are replying to.

Therein lies the rub: 'l' is not bound to anything, and 'L' replies w/no group found. I read that in the mutt manual, as well. Guess that begs the question as to exactly how this is set up, since what is in the .muttrc or .procmailrc seem not to work. :-| -- "Yogi" CH Namaste Yoga Studio
